1. Who we are
Instant TV Mount ("we", "us", "dispatch") is a same-day TV install crew. This policy describes how we collect, use, and look after the personal information you share with us when you snap, book, or visit instanttvmount.online.
If anything below is unclear, or you'd like a copy of the data we hold, write to dispatch@instanttvmount.online and we'll reply in plain language within five working days.
2. What we collect
We try to ask for the smallest thing that still lets dispatch reply with a fixed price.
- Your name, email, and (if you give it) phone number.
- The photo and notes you send describing the room.
- The install address, once you book.
- A short record of the install — bracket, time, notes — kept for warranty.
- Anonymous web analytics about which pages get used.
We don't collect card details on this site. Billing runs through our payment processor and your card data never touches our servers.
3. Why we use it
Your snap and details are used for one thing: replying with a quote and dispatching the install. Records of the install itself are kept so we can honour the 12-month workmanship promise. Anonymous analytics are used to make this site less annoying — nothing else.
We will never use your information for marketing, a newsletter, or anything you didn't ask for.
4. Our legal basis
Where the law requires us to name a basis for handling your information, we rely on:
- Performance of a contract — to quote, schedule, and complete the install you asked for.
- Legitimate interest — to run a small business, honour our workmanship promise, and improve this site.
- Legal obligation — to keep tax and accounting records as the law requires.
5. Who we share it with
The only third parties who ever see your details are:
- Our email provider, who routes messages between you and dispatch.
- Our accountant, who sees invoice records once a year.
- Our payment processor, who handles card payments and is legally required to keep your data safe.
Each is contractually bound to handle your data with the same care we do, and none are permitted to use it for their own purposes.
6. How long we keep it
Your snap and our reply are kept for two years from the date of your install, in case you need a workmanship visit. Anonymous analytics are kept for 13 months. Invoices and tax records are kept for the period required by law (currently six years).
After those windows, the information is deleted from active systems. Backups are rotated and overwritten within a further ninety days.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use one privacy-friendly analytics tool to count visits and understand which pages people use. It does not set advertising cookies and does not follow you across other sites. See our cookies policy for the full list.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Send you a copy of the information we hold on you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your information, where we don't have a legal reason to keep it.
- Pause our use of it while we work something out.
The easiest way is to write to dispatch@instanttvmount.online. We respond within five working days and we never charge for the request.
9. Children
Our service is intended for adults arranging an install in their own home. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us a snap, please tell us and we'll remove it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be summarised in a short note at the top of this page for 30 days after the update.
